‘Aziz Bayg's daughters' power of attorney and guardianship to Ja‘far Khan
The daughter of the late ‘Aziz Bayg gives power of attorney to pay all of ‘Aziz Bayg's definite debts and resolve other debts through settlements to her uncle, Ja‘far Khan. He also has the power of attorney to sell the share (including houses, mills, lands, and gardens) and pay the mahr of ‘Aziz Bayg's wife. ‘Aziz Bayg was survived by two daughters and Ja‘far Khan was appointed as the underage daughter's guardian in order to pay all of ‘Aziz khan's definite debts and resolve other debts through settlements. Settlement, 1923
Karbalayi Muhammad Riza, son of the late Karbalayi ‘Ali Akbar, and Karbalayi Najaf ‘Ali, son of the late Karbalayi Ghulam, as guardians of the children of the late Husayn Ibn ‘Ali Akbar Khuzani, son of the late Mashhadi ‘Abbas from Varnusfadiran, exchange a piece of land located in Saruh known as Haji Muzaffari for thirty two tumans and two thousand dinars, with one and hundred dinars and ten loads of Muhubin wheat for the detriment clause.

Sale document between Aqa Hasan and Muhammad Ibrahim, 1837
Sale document between Aqa Hasan Tajir [merchant], son of Haji ‘Abd al-Khaliq, and Haji Muhammad Ibrahim Tajir over parts of Kazim Abad property for one hundred and fifty tumans, dated 1837; Aqa Hasan had the power of attorney from Aqa ‘Abd al-Vahhab, son of Haji Husyan Tajir, and was the guardian of Haji Husyan’s two underage children. Haji Husyan’s wife had bestowed her share. On verso, in 1842, Haji Muhammad Ibrahim sold this property to Akhund Mulla ‘Ali in exchange for parts of Baqir Abad property in Rafsanjan in addition to one hundred and fifty tumans.

Power of attorney to collect debts and documents, 1909
Power of attorney given by Bibi Agha, wife of the late Karim Khan and the guardian of her underage children, to Mulla Zayn al-‘Abidin in order to get her rights and any document from whoever claims the guardianship of her children, and to resolve any disputes; the attorney's fee is one-tenth of what she receives. Bibi Agha Khanum's seal is at the end of the document.

Settlement of Nisa’ Khanum and Mulla ‘Abd al-Husayn with Mirza Faraj Allah, 1803
Mulla ‘Abd al-Husayn (son of Mulla ‘Abd al-Rahim) and Nisa’ Khanum (daughter of Karbalayi Baqir) sell their residential house and garden in Surkhab, Tabriz, to Mirza Faraj Allah (son of Mirza Abu Muhammad the former sheriff of Tabriz) for seventeen tumans on behalf of themselves, as the guardians of the underage children of Mulla Muhammad Riza (Zayn al-‘Abidin and Jamal al-Din), and on behalf of Sara Baygum.

Dividing the inheritance of Sa‘id al-Mulk's daughters, 1874
Sa‘id al-Mulk's landed properties are divided among his three daughters, who have inherited them. Husaynquli Khan and Mirza Salih Khan represent their wives (Sa‘id al-Mulk's daughters) and Shahzadah Khanum represents Nusrat al-Dawlah, who is the guardian of the underage Zinat Taj Khanum. The document lists the properties and shares of each party; part of the shared property remained undivided for everyone's benefit.

Power of attorney given by Fatimah Sultan, daughter of Muhammad Sadiq Bayg and wife of the late Muhammad Karim Bayg from Shiraz, to Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin Saham al-Shari‘ah, on behalf of herself and her three underage children (‘Ali Aqa, Khanum Zinat, and Khanum Shawkat), under the supervision of her brother, Aqa ‘Abbas Khan, in order to determine, receive, and possess the late Muhammad Karim Bayg's inheritance.

Power of attorney given to Mulla Zayn al-‘Abidin, son of Haji Muhammad Hasan from Shiraz, by Bibi Khanum Rubab (daughter of Haji Muhammad Isma‘il from Shiraz and the permanent wife of the late Mashhadi Muhammad Bunakdar [the wholesaler], who is currently the guardian of her underaged daughter, Khanum Sughra, for six months from the time of this contract in order to receive her and her daughter's rights from Mustafa Bunakdar. The lawyer is allowed to keep the daughter's uncle, Mashhadi Haji Muhammad Baqqal [the grocer] informed. Dated July 18, 1907
